Mahler — A Vetiver Scent That Listens
There are scents that speak, and scents that listen. This is the latter. Vetiver, dry and enigmatic, holds the weight of unspoken thoughts. A fragrance of stillness—of pages turned softly, of wooden floors cooling at dusk, of the space left behind after a farewell.
It is rooted and weightless at once, deepened by resinous woods, cedar, guaiac, and myrrh. There’s something of a forgotten green thread woven through it—dried sage, vetiver brushed against wool, a memory of herbs left too long in the sun. And just beneath, something darker—a whisper of ink on paper, the varnish of a violin resting between movements.
